Sales Development Representative

We started Teiko Bio to use immune insights to help deliver life-changing therapies to those who need them most.  Today, Teiko delivers on its mission by supporting therapy development and informing clinical decision making.  By using cutting-edge mass cytometry, Teiko’s leading test, the TokuProfile, maps characteristics of response, accelerates clinical pipeline candidates and supports identification of novel discoveries.

We are currently seeking a high-impact Sales Development Representative (SDR) to drive our outbound sales and lead generation while supporting the sales and marketing teams.

About you:

  • Outgoing personality with a general interest or background in diagnostics/therapeutics
  • Ability to form and nurture relationships with translational medicine decision making teams (or proven ability to reach scientific decision makers)
  • Motivated to help breakthrough therapies reach patients
  • Excited to tackle ground-floor challenges and work with seasoned scientists and proven entrepreneurs

Responsibilities

  • Outbound Sales
    • Identify decision makers and generate qualified leads for the technical sales team 
    • Support the sales team preparation for customer meetings
    • Help create new and refine existing marketing materials
    • Form new and nurture existing customer relationships
    • Represent Teiko.bio at industry events
  • Strategic
    • Leverage customer learnings to develop new marketing strategies
    • Drive new outbound initiatives including paid ads and content marketing
    • Find new software tools that help us increase our throughput and quality of qualified meetings
    • Develop best practices for Teiko outbound sales and marketing

Experience and qualifications

  • Bachelors in business, related science field or demonstrated expertise in mastering a complicated subject
  • Extroverted personality and track-record of delivering results

Biopharma Marketing Internship

We started Teiko Bio to use immune insights to help deliver life changing therapies to those who need them most.  Today, Teiko delivers on its mission by supporting therapy development and informing clinical decision-making. Some of the largest immunotherapy companies in the world are now using Teiko to analyze the immune response of drug candidates in their pipeline.

We are seeking a high-energy marketing intern to join Teiko this summer, help build a new business in biopharma and receive individualized mentorship from our proven entrepreneurial and scientific team.

About you:

  • Motivated to help breakthrough therapies reach patients
  • Excited to tackle ground-floor challenges and work with seasoned scientists and proven entrepreneurs
  • Energized by the challenge of making immune profiling routine for clinical trials and patients

Responsibilities:

  • Own inbound marketing channel development: including quantitative measures of performance
  • Work closely with scientists and clinicians to develop marketing messages that resonate with our customers and partners, and directly increase revenue
  • Develop marketing narratives and vignettes with teams of scientific writers and web designers
  • Make science legible for anyone!

Experience:

  • Practical, working knowledge of modern marketing tools
  • Nice to have: Prior experience navigating cross-functional teams OR bringing together diverse stakeholders to achieve a common goal

Biopharma Business Development

About you:

  • Either ability to form OR have existing relationships with translational medicine decision making teams; with an initial focus on immunotherapy and cell therapy
  • Motivated to help breakthrough therapies reach patients
  • Excited to tackle ground-floor challenges and work with seasoned scientists and proven entrepreneurs

Responsibilities

  • Identify target customers and decision makers within biopharma organizations
  • Provide introductions to and participate in presentations with target companies
  • Understand overall company strategy to keep marketing materials and value proposition updated
  • Drive the biopharma sales pipeline from identification to close

Experience

  • Ideally, prior experience in diagnostics, immunology, or biopharma, OR proven ability to quickly learn a new domain
  • Practical, working knowledge of modern customer-relationship-management (CRM) tools
  • Proven experience in finding and closing large deals
  • No degree required but knows how to close business
