We started Teiko Bio to use immune insights to help deliver life-changing therapies to those who need them most.  Today, Teiko delivers on its mission by supporting therapy development and informing clinical decision-making.  By using cutting-edge mass cytometry, Teiko‚Äôs leading test, the TokuProfile, maps characteristics of response, accelerates clinical pipeline candidates, and supports identification of novel discoveries.

We are currently seeking a high-impact scientist to drive our scientific R&D efforts in the lab, participate in the technical sales and marketing pipeline, and support company strategy.  

About you:

  • Strong scientific background with a specialization in immunology
  • Interested in staying close to the science while building a new company
  • Ability to form relationships with translational medicine decision-making teams (or proven ability to reach scientific decision-makers)
  • Motivated to help breakthrough therapies reach patients
  • Excited to tackle ground-floor challenges and work with seasoned scientists and proven entrepreneurs


  • Scientific
    • Use your technical knowledge to advance in-house R&D initiatives
    • Create publication roadmap (abstract, posters, papers, etc)
    • Support the creation of marketing materials that resonate with scientific decision-makers
    • Primary owner and point of contact for pharma sales pipeline
    • Find and develop collaborative relationships with Immunology experts or others in our field
  • Strategic
    • Drive outbound sales presentations and support the larger team as a subject matter expert
    • Represent the company at conferences and events
    • Provide appropriate scientific, and educational support for cross-functional colleagues

Experience and qualifications

  • Masters or PhD in Immunology or related field, or demonstrated expertise
  • Experience in high-complexity lab environments
  • Nice-to-have: experience in CLIA lab, clinical trial design and implementation, flow cytometry, mass cytometry, single-cell RNA sequencing
